Using VM ZINC® products contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gases and the protection of energy resources because the amount of energy required to manufacture rolled zinc products from ore is the lowest in the market for metals (such as copper, aluminium or stainless steel) used in building.
Using VM ZINC® products contributes to limiting the consumption of ore reserves because zinc is a natural material, which is potentially 100% recyclable. As a result, in Europe for example, 90% of old rolled zinc is recovered and re-used in various zinc applications.
